Q: When is The Famously Hot Music Festival?
A: FHMF Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 24, 25, 26, 2012.

Q: How much are FHMF tickets?
A: There are three ticket levels for FHMF, plus a VIP option. All the info and access to purchase tickets can be found by clicking here.
Q: Where is FHMF located?
A: FHMF 2012 will take place in Finlay Park in downtown Columbia, SC. Click here for directions and parking information.
A: The official hotel of the FHMF is the Marriott Columbia.
Q: Are there “pass ins and outs” or re-entry allowed?
A: No, no re-entry will be allowed if you leave FHMF.
Q: What items can I bring with me to FHMF?
A: Towels and blankets will be permitted, but chairs of any kind are prohibited.
Small purses or drawstring packs are ok. No large purses or backpacks.
Sunscreen! (In non-aerosol containers).
Q: What items should I leave at home?
A: Items that are not allowed at FHMF are the standard items that aren’t allowed at any festivals. If you’re in doubt, it’s best to leave that item at home.
Coolers, grills, or picnic baskets are not allowed but FHMF will offer a wide array of food and beverages.
Flash cameras, professional camera equipment, and recording devices are NOT permitted. No cameras with video capabilities.
Rollerskates/blades, bikes, scooters, skateboards, or chairs of any kind are not allowed within the festival grounds due to the limited space of the site.
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed due to Finlay Park and Columbia City ordinances. We do offer patrons of age beer for purchase.
Outside food items are not allowed.
And here’s the standard list of items that are absolutely not allowed:
- Weapons of any kind
- Fireworks or explosives of any kind
- Illegal or illicit substances of any kind
- Large backpacks
- Glass containers
- Metal aerosol cans, including sunscreen
- Carts, tents, and chairs of any kind
- Coolers
- Pets (except service dogs)
- No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed
- No unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaways, etc.
Q: Will there be Safety & Medical professionals at FHMF?
A: Yes
Q: Do babies and small children need tickets?
Yes. Any person, no matter how young or old, attending FHMF must have a ticket to enter the Festival.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: No. Finlay Park has a “no pets” policy.
